Christmas

We had a really nice, low-key Christmas this year.

We got a tree.
And I took tons of professional-quality photos of our whole family decorating it, in which you can see everyone's face and we are all smiling.
We did the Carter Family Christmas Party, which was a lot of fun. Anda had blast following her cousins around all afternoon.

And we helped Santa out a little in our own workshop, with a table that our neighbors were getting rid of.
Anda loves her new kitchen (and kitchen table), along with all her princess paraphernalia, new clothes, and other toys. Apparently she was a very good girl this year.
Dan must have been pretty good, too. He is now determined to become a rock star and has been diligently doing his online guitar lessons. But mostly he got tools for the garage, which I think he's happy about.
I got everything I asked for, and even had a husband home for two whole weeks to help do projects and installations for me. My most visible gift is probably this great hanging pot rack. I love it.
We went to church, internetted with the grandparents to open their very generous gifts, and spent most of the day just hanging out and playing with our new toys.

Oh, and doing whatever this is.
We had a great Christmas season and hope you did too.
