Ben's Birthday

Ben has the third birthday during our spring birthday season, so we were all pretty worn out and perfectly okay with a little low-key celebration this time. 

He got his birthday bowl of cereal that morning.

Then he had a pretty normal day of gym, nap, etc. 

Daddy came home a little early so we opened presents in the early afternoon. The bubble blower in particular was a huge hit. 

Then went to Chik-Fil-A, which we think is one of his favorites, for a little chicken and play time. (He's only saying about 10 words at this point and doesn't make a lot of demands more specific than grunting and pointing, so we had to make some assumptions.)

When we got home, we had Melmo cake (Elmo's cousin, due to Ben's pronunciation and my very amateur cake decorating skills) and ice cream.

It was a nice, quiet birthday, which I think was enjoyed by all.
