Earthquake notwithstanding, Anda and I spent a week and a half with my parents back in Virginia. It was heaven. We flew into DC and decided to stay a day and see some sights.
She had a hard time finding Lincoln when we went in here. I guess he was just too huge.
We took pictures for Grandma and Grandpa and for Dada, respectively, at the WWII memorial.
Maybe the cutest picture ever of all time:
This carousel was not cheap, so when Anda asked to ride it again, I told her it was a "just one" time thing. Now if you mention her riding the horsey, she will very emphatically hold up a finger and tell you, "it's just one."
I thought she'd be more interested in the Natural History Museum, but was definitely okay when she wasn't.
We were all pooped.
