Whenever Dan and my dad are together and the Cowboys and Redskins play each other, they hold "The Red Cow." Whoever's team wins gets to keep the coveted pocket watch trophy until the next Red Cow is held.
Last Christmas, Dan was so offended by my dad's ugly Redskins sweater that he immediately got on Ebay and found the exact same sweater for the Cowboys. I cannot express to you how excited he has been about surprising my dad with it for the past year.
There was some debate over who got to have an additional fan, but Anda is a diplomat and agreed to root for both teams.
Much to her dad's chagrin. He won anyway.
