Lilah is FOUR!
In true larger-than-life Lilah fashion, she managed to spread her festivities over a whole week!
She requested a strawberry-lemonade cake, which was about four times as big as it needed to be, so her preschool classmates got to enjoy most of it the next week, too.
And Aunt Mimi bought tickets for the girls to go to a traveling dinosaur exhibit that happened to be in town that week. (They've been really into Lego Jurassic World, so dinosaurs are big right now at our house.)
Lilah and Ben were a little apprehensive about the life-size dinosaurs at first.
But Lilah at least came around after a little while.
She even rode the moving robotic dinosaur in the end.
Although this one was more Ben's speed:
And what dino-day would be complete without handing small children clubs and watching the ensuing chaos of dino mini golf?
Later she opened presents, where she got her coveted Jazz-Man doll.
And a new favorite:
Then cake and ice cream (Dan had to talk her out of getting chocolate ice cream to go with her lemon cake, which led to her discovery of rainbow sherbet, also a new favorite).
The next weekend, Nana and Papa were able to come down to take the girls to Disney's Frozen On Ice. I'm told a good time was had by all. Happy birthday to one silly...

...sometimes sassy...
...and always sweet girl!
