It was a short but steep hike, and I didn't know there was a waterfall, so that was a nice surprise. Not a nice surprise: the super awkward high school kids at the top of the trail who love Glee so much that they decided to sit by the waterfall and sing four part harmony for everyone. Loudly.

I spread some compost/table scraps in our garden spot a month or two ago, and I am pretty sure we have some surprise pumpkins popping up. However, I don't know what this is. It looks pretty planty, but does anyone know if it's actually a weed? I'm torn between nurturing and killing.

It looks like SOMETHING. Let it grow and see what happens. Marijauna?
ReplyDeleteLike your mom said, leave it alone. If it grows it's a weed. If it dies it's a plant. That is what I have learned after all the classes and years of gardening. You can also take a photo to a garden center and have them look it up or they might know by seeing it. Do you have a good gardener in your ward?
